Commercial Lead

Project Location: Frankfurty, Germany

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor
Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project Commercial Team and provide support to the construction team on all commercial and quantity surveying functions.
• Ensure compliance with contract obligations and provide advice and monitoring to the construction team.
• Identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting to management.
• Compile monthly progress applications, ensuring they include accurate remeasure, site variations, dayworks, or claims.
• Oversee operational procurement activity and provide contract support in conjunction with the Procurement Department.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
• Forecast and manage project turnover and cash flow.
• Review and manage all projects to ensure accurate and reliable commercial reporting.
• Identify, analyse, and report on trends within the business and projects.
• Provide data and analysis of issues and risks as required by management.
• Improve and implement best practice commercial processes and accurate budgeting.
• Lead, support, and provide coaching to the commercial team on best practice quantity surveying and cost management methods.
• Review all incoming correspondence from employers, design teams, and/or subcontractors to identify contractually critical items and initiate appropriate responses.
• Ensure the construction team is adhering to all contractual requirements, providing advice and monitoring compliance.
• Ensure reporting aligns with group policies and highlight any exceptions to management.
• Perform any other duties associated with the role.

Qualification

• Relevant third level qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent level of education (e.g. engineering) combined with commercial experience.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience with General Contractor experience.
• Data Centre Experience Desirable however not essential
