CNC Operator

MANE are currently recruiting for CNC Operators, in the Cambridge area for a world leading Aerospace company. The role is a 6 month rolling contract, with the possibility of a permanent position for suitable candidates.

Resposibilities:

• Develop CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining, focused on trimming composite parts, machining CNC jigs, and patterns for composite tooling production.
• Create comprehensive work instructions to guide machining setup and processes, ensuring clarity and precision for CNC operators.
• Provide hands-on support to CNC operators during machining activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Identify and implement machining best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve overall productivity.
• Collaborate with production operatives, offering expertise and support in all aspects of 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
• Operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines as needed to provide additional resource coverage or meet production demands.
