Key Responsibilities
Oversee the management of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages within your scope.
Implement engineering best practices with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Ensure site safety compliance in coordination with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including setting up, managing, and closing out the safety file as part of the project team.
Manage quality assurance (QA) processes in collaboration with the QA Manager, overseeing the setup, maintenance, and finalisation of QA documentation.
Coordinate project scheduling alongside the CSA Package Manager, Project Manager, consulting engineers, and client requirements.
Support cost management across all aspects of the package, including:- In-house civil team
- Subcontractors
- Material deliveries and goods receipting
- Plant and equipment
- Variations and valuations
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress against the schedule and workforce levels, with a weekly minuted meeting for progress review.
Administer the snagging process, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable and distributing outstanding issues to subcontractors.
Attend and actively participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
Ensure the successful close-out of all project elements, including the final account, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety file, QA documentation, material and plant relocations, and project plan, with support from the project team.
Contribute to weekly reporting, detailing orders placed, expected material arrivals, and workforce levels.
Support internal progress reporting by consolidating project supervisors' updates, highlighting percentage completion (based on WBS codes), key risks, and challenges such as late deliveries.
Assist in external progress reporting in coordination with the CSA Package Manager, updating the Project Manager on site availability, delays, design shortfalls, third-party dependencies, and overall completion percentage.
Schedule and monitor material deliveries in alignment with the project timeline.
Maintain a comprehensive weekly photographic record of project progress.
Qualification
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience working on large scale EPC projects
- Experience in Data Centre or Pharmaceutical Construction is desired
