Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages under your control.
- Implement company quality and safety standards across the project.
- Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.
- Manage Quality Assurance (QA) processes alongside the QA Manager, ensuring proper documentation and closeout.
- Oversee the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and client requirements.
Cost & Resource Management:
- Assist in managing all costs associated with your package, including:
- Civil team
- Subcontractors
- Material deliveries and goods receipting
- Plant and equipment
- Variations and valuations
- Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Track subcontractor progress against the schedule and manpower levels, holding weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors.
Coordination & Reporting:- Manage the snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists and all snags are distributed to subcontractors.
- Submit direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
- Support the closeout of all project items, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA files, material and plant relocations, and project plans.
- Issue weekly reports detailing orders placed, expected material deliveries, and labour levels.
- Provide internal weekly progress reports based on supervisor updates, highlighting progress percentage complete (using WBS codes), concerns, and project risks (e.g., late deliveries).
- Submit external weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, identifying areas not available, delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and percentage completion.
- Schedule material deliveries in line with the project timeline, tracking deliveries closely.
- Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
Qualification- Civil Engineer Degree
- Proven Experience working on large scale EPC Projects
