Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages under your control.
  • Implement company quality and safety standards across the project.
  • Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.
  • Manage Quality Assurance (QA) processes alongside the QA Manager, ensuring proper documentation and closeout.
  • Oversee the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and client requirements.


Cost & Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing all costs associated with your package, including:
  • Civil team
  • Subcontractors
  • Material deliveries and goods receipting
  • Plant and equipment
  • Variations and valuations
  • Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Track subcontractor progress against the schedule and manpower levels, holding weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors.
    Coordination & Reporting:
    • Manage the snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists and all snags are distributed to subcontractors.
    • Submit direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
    • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
    • Support the closeout of all project items, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA files, material and plant relocations, and project plans.
    • Issue weekly reports detailing orders placed, expected material deliveries, and labour levels.
    • Provide internal weekly progress reports based on supervisor updates, highlighting progress percentage complete (using WBS codes), concerns, and project risks (e.g., late deliveries).
    • Submit external weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, identifying areas not available, delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and percentage completion.
    • Schedule material deliveries in line with the project timeline, tracking deliveries closely.
    • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.

    Qualification
    • Civil Engineer Degree
    • Proven Experience working on large scale EPC Projects
