Assembly Technician

Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Germany
Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
MIG Welders required for a manufacturing company based in Germany. As a MIG Welder, you will be required to carry out the following tasks.

Due to the nature of the role, candidate must have strong German language skills.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Build & assemble complex sub-assemblies
• Electro-mechanical assembly
• Precision fitting, working to very tight tolerances
• Welding and assembling of Aluminium structures
• Must be able to use various hand tools such as spanners, ratchet sets, allen keys as well as electric power tools.
• Ability to mark out, drill & tap holes is essential for this role.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings & instructions
• Welders have to weld in difficult positions, partly in narrow receptacles & in confined spaces

Experience:

• Assembly experience ideally on heavy equipment
• Previous experience of working on trucks or heavy equipment is essential
• Ability to read technical drawings
