Up to £34,000 + Overtime 1.25Hrs Monday to Thursday / 1.50Hrs Friday to Saturday

4 Day Week Working Hours: 7am - 5pm Monday to Wednesday / 7am - 4:30pm Thursday

Location: Merthyr Tydfill - 1 week training in Ampthill

24 Month FTC

We are working closely with a Large Defence company who are specialising in the build of armoured fighting vehicles. With a new manufacturing site in Merthyr Tydfill, they are looking to build a force of specialist within Mechanical and Electrical Assembly. You will receive 1 weeks paid training in Bedfordshire as well as have a 24-month FTC. With a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday) and the option of paid overtime on Friday's and Saturdays where work is available this opportunity is an exciting one for any assembly technicians looking for their next role!

Experience we are looking for:

• Proven experience in roles such as Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, or Aircraft Assembly Technician.
• Skilled in setting up and conducting quality and performance tests.
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring equipment with precision.
• Effective in coordinating with test support, engineering, and quality teams.
• Experienced in manufacturing environments with mandatory adherence to "clean as you go"/6S/FOD/Tool control programs.
• Familiar with quality inspection points and process documentation.
