Job Title: Assembly Fitter
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £32K per annum (D.O.E) + 18% Shift Allowance
Location: Severn Beach, Bristol

Assembly Fitters required for an engineering & manufacturing company based in Severn Beach, Bristol.

As an Assembly Technician, you must have a strong background within mechanical assembly, precision fitting. You must be able to read and understand schematics. Previous experience of bench assembly & fitting. Ability to build machine sub-assemblies following engineering drawings & schematics.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build & put together machine sub-assemblies

• Machine build
• Precision assembling & fitting
• Detail precision fitting
• Ability to work to tight very tight tolerances
• Knowledge of pneumatics is essential
• Ability to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, ratchet sets, pipe bending & swaging tools.
• Must be able to read schematics

Qualifications:

• Engineering Apprenticeship
• Or any other relevant engineering qualifications
