Job Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
Friday: 07:30 - 13:00

Eligibility Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be eligible for BPSS clearance.
Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 3 years and be able to provide a 3-year employment history.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will carry out mechanical assembly tasks according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Assembler, your duties will include:

• Assembling mechanical components and systems
• Constructing small sub-assemblies
• Following technical drawings and instructions to assemble items such as fans, motors, and heaters
• Ensuring all products meet company quality and safety standards
• Utilizing hand tools, including spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, torque wrenches, and electric power tools
• Using measuring tools such as Verniers and Micrometers
• Performing point-to-point wiring and crimping of small cables
• Soldering small components
• Undertaking general assembly and fitting duties across a range of products

Key Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CMMs, or SOPs
• Experience working with SOPs and technical drawings
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• Familiarity with a variety of hand tools, such as circlip pliers, screwdrivers, tweezers, scrapers, and Swiss files
• Soldering experience with small components
• Experience with machinery such as lathes and drills
• Brazing skills (desirable)
• Strong ability to work within a team
