Electrical Fitter

MANE is currently recruiting for 2 Electrical Fitters to join our Aerospace client's team in Bournemouth.

Position: Electrical Wire Person / Electrical Fitter

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the aviation industry.
• Contract position.
• The role involves manufacturing harnesses, assembling control module LEDs, and installing completed items into units while adhering to specifications.
• Tasks may involve working in confined areas and using step ladders or platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in harness manufacturing, cable selection, and use of Raychem ident system.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience required.
• Experience in stripping cables, using crimp tools (hydraulic and hand), and assembling connectors.
• Proficiency in soldering to a high standard.
• Ability to work independently on projects.
• Installation of electrical items into units and use of hand tools to prepare for harnesses.
• Compliance with specification drawings and working within confined areas.
• Manage paperwork/documents according to company procedures.
• Must provide own tools; specialised tooling provided by the company.
